New Patients
Thank you for choosing Morrell Dermatology for your dermatologic care. We are pleased to welcome new patients to our practice, where we specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of skin conditions, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancer.
We understand how busy life can be and are committed to making your experience convenient and accessible. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident that you are receiving care from experienced, qualified, and compassionate professionals. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call or email our office at your convenience. To help streamline your visit, please complete the new patient paperwork prior to your appointment. Paperwork will be collected at check-in on the day of your visit.
Insurance
We participate with most major insurance plans, including Medicare. However, it is your responsibility to understand any restrictions your policy may have and to obtain an insurance referral if required. Failure to secure a necessary referral may result in denial of your claim, leaving you financially responsible. Please note that we do not accept Medicaid, WellCare, or any Marketplace plans.
We strive to provide accurate cost estimates based on the information available at the time of your visit. These estimates are not guarantees of payment, as final determination is made by your insurance carrier once the claim has been processed.
Payment & Financing
All payments are due at the time services are rendered. By federal law and managed care contract law, we are required to collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles for each encounter. Any additional fees associated with procedures or treatments will be collected following your appointment. We accept cash, Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and CareCredit®. We do not accept personal checks or American Express®.
Online Bill Pay
For your convenience, we offer a secure online payment option so you can quickly and easily pay your bill at any time. Our encrypted payment portal allows you to submit payments safely from the comfort of your home using a major credit card. If you have any questions about your statement or need assistance, our team is happy to help.
Referring Doctors
Working in close partnership with our referring physicians is an important part of the care we provide at Morrell Dermatology. We value every referral and are committed to delivering timely, high-quality dermatologic care for your patients.
Patients may be referred to our office by downloading and completing the referral form below. Once completed, please fax the form along with any relevant documentation to our secure fax number at 409-898-3901. For patients being referred for skin cancer, please include pathology results and any supporting documentation, such as clinical photographs, to prevent delays in care.
Please note that if the referred patient has HMO insurance, a copy of the insurance referral authorization must be attached before the patient can be scheduled.
