Dr. Peter J. Morrell
Board-Certified Dermatologist/Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Peter J. Morrell is a board-certified dermatologist and Southeast Texas native providing advanced, patient-focused care in Beaumont and Port Neches. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of North Texas Health Science Center, he completed specialized training in dermatology and a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship at A.T. Still University. Dr. Morrell is known for his precise, thoughtful approach, combining surgical expertise with personalized treatment plans designed to deliver excellent outcomes while prioritizing patient comfort and efficiency.
Lauren Konjoyan, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Lauren Konjoyan was born and raised in Nederland, Texas. After graduating from Nederland High School, Lauren attended Lamar University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2022, Lauren obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She then completed a one-year surgical fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Lauren is a board-certified physician assistant by the NCCPA and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Makenzie Callender, MSN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Makenzie grew up in the small town of Buna, Texas and developed a strong commitment to caring for others at an early age. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lamar University and spent three years serving as a registered nurse in the ICU at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. During this time, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman’s University. She then worked as a Nurse Practitioner at a family practice in Orange, Texas before she found her place in Morrell Dermatology. A devoted wife and Christian, Makenzie is grateful for the opportunity to serve her community and is excited to provide high-quality dermatologic care to patients of all ages.
Bailey Turner, LE
Licensed Esthetician
Bailey is a licensed esthetician with a love for glowing skin, good energy, and helping clients feel confident in their own skin. Her approach is modern, elevated, and effortless — she focuses on the details so they can fully relax, feel taken care of, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
Outside of her work, Bailey is all about family, laughter, and soaking up life’s sweet moments. She is especially grateful for her loving family and her sweet puppy who keep her grounded and inspired every day.
